A digital student card It has the same function as the Student Identification Card (CIE), but with the ease of being on your cell phone.
In other words, you no longer need to carry the physical CIE to prove your connection with an educational institution.
Any Brazilian student enrolled in institutions recognized by the MEC can request digital student card.
Who can request
To get your card, you need to be a student at one of these educational institutions:
- Basic education consisting of early childhood education, primary education and secondary education.
- Higher education, that is: undergraduate, postgraduate (specialization, master's and doctorate) and university extension.
One of the great benefits of the card is guaranteed by Law 12,933/13, also known as the Half-Price Law.
This law ensures that students are entitled to pay half the price charged to the general public in various leisure establishments.
These include cinemas, theaters, cultural, sporting and general entertainment events.
This way, students have a guaranteed discount of 50% on the entrance fee for these places.

How to request
To make a request for digital student card it's very simple:
1. First you must access the website Student Club;
2. Click “Request now” to get started;
3. In the next step, you must select the name of your Educational Institution and click “Next”;
4. Then, choose the card model you want, as in addition to the digital version, you can also request a physical card;
The website presents the prices for each one and you can choose between 3 colors: Blue, Pink and Black.
5. After selecting which one you want, you must fill in your details to create an account;
6. Finally, enter your payment details and choose the way you want to pay;
7. After payment confirmation, you will receive an email to complete your request.
At this stage, you need to send your proof of registration, your photo and your identity document for approval;
8. After your order is approved, it will go into production and be ready for shipping within two business days.
9. Done! Now just wait for your card.
Please note:
Proof of enrollment must be up to date and from the current semester.
Furthermore, it must contain the name of the card applicant and be signed by the educational institution, even if it is a virtual signature.
The photo sent must be from the front and on a neutral background, showing the student's face in good lighting.
Photos with sunglasses, shirtless, hats, caps and the like, as well as black and white photos, are not accepted.
The validity of the student card in the national territory is in accordance with Law 12,933/2013, which regulates half-entry into the country.
According to this law, cards are valid until March 31st of the next year in which they are issued.
